Scope

Cycle ("the app") at cycles.dan.me is a private, non-commercial web application operated by Dan Wishbone (the "operator") for personal use by the operator and one invited partner. There is no public sign-up. By using an invitation link, creating a passkey, or connecting an Oura account, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.

Eligibility and accounts

Use is limited to people the operator has invited. You must be 18 or older. You are responsible for the devices and passkeys that can sign in to your account. Tell the operator if a device is lost so its passkey can be removed.

Oura connection

Connecting an Oura account is optional and done through Oura's own login. You may disconnect at any time from within the app or from your Oura account settings. Oura data is subject to Oura's own terms and privacy policy. The operator is not affiliated with Oura.

Not medical advice

The app estimates menstrual cycle phase from wearable data and user entries using simple rules. Estimates can be wrong, especially with irregular cycles, illness, travel, alcohol, hormonal contraception, or missing data. The app is not a medical device, does not diagnose or treat any condition, and must not be used for contraception, conception planning, or any health decision. Consult a clinician for medical questions.

Acceptable use

Use the app only for its intended purpose between the two consenting users. Do not attempt to access another person's account, probe or disrupt the service, or use the data for any purpose the other user has not agreed to.

Availability and changes

The app is provided as-is, with no uptime guarantee or support obligation. The operator may change, suspend, or shut down the app at any time. On shutdown, stored data is deleted.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the app, including reliance on its estimates or notifications.

Termination

Either user may stop using the app at any time and ask the operator to delete their data. The operator may remove access for any reason.
